DU students are impacting their communities. Alumni and current students of the Graduate School of Social Work are taking their skills and training to the people who need it the most, through a partnership with Project Angel Heart. With the support of 8,000 volunteers, this nonprofit organization packages and delivers medically tailored meals to people with severe illnesses. Together, Project Angel Heart and DU’s Graduate School of Social Work are making a difference with the belief that food is medicine.
